Our leadership works one-on-one and frequently onsite with our global partners. We are intentional about maintaining a personal relationship with those who provide day-to-day care for the children.

Transparency

We apply 98% of the gifts we receive to the children we help and their caregivers. We use only 2% of gifts for operating expenses. Bbright is eager and willing to share all our financial information with you.

Is my donation secure?

Yes. Both your financial and personal information is 100% protected and private. We manage donations through Donorbox, a trusted platform for nonprofit giving. Below is more information on Donorbox’s safety and security practices.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Bbright is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Federal Tax Identification Number, also known as an EIN, is 86-1416245. Any donation to Bbright is tax deductible. We suggest you consult your financial advisor to determine the specific extent of the deduction that your donation enables. When you donate to us, we will send you a digital charitable tax receipt.

Can I donate by mail?

Yes. You can send a check or money order made out to Bbright to 120 Bethany Drive, Canonsburg, PA 15317.

Can I make in-kind donations?

Yes. Bbright is often in need of various goods or services that our supporters can provide. If you would like to give of your time, talents, or other resources, we’d love to hear from you! Contact us or send us an email at brenda@bbright.org and we’ll be in touch.

Can I donate stock?

Yes. Bbright accepts most types of securities, including stocks (shares). When you donate stock to Bbright, we will send you a letter of acknowledgement that details the donation, its value (as determined by you or your financial advisor), and the date received. Does Bbright participate in workplace gift matching programs?

Yes. Bbright qualifies for workplace gift matching in many types of companies because our mission supports so many causes, such as eliminating human trafficking, educating underprivileged children, housing refugees, supporting women and girls, and feeding the hungry.

We also do our best to make gift matching easy for you and your employer. We complete all the paperwork required by your company or the third party they use to manage giving.
